A Mission Based on Direct Experience

About the Founder

For Dr. Crisanna Shackelford, the founder of Real Reactions, this mission is deeply personal. In 2014, Dr. Shackelford was injured by a shingles vaccine, revealing the harsh realities of vaccine injuries—difficulty in gaining recognition and the arduous journey to effective care. Her personal struggle ignited her commitment to advocate for others affected by vaccine injuries, particularly within the military.

With over 33 years of service in the United States Navy and the Department of Defense, Dr. Shackelford upholds the values of service, honor, and duty. Her career has instilled in her the importance of advocating for those who protect our nation. Real Reactions embodies this commitment, ensuring that every service member, veteran, and family affected by vaccine injuries receives the support and recognition they deserve.
